Not sure if you guys know this, but your info@ email address is busted. Here's a note I'm trying to send you... no reason it can't be public. I met you very briefly recently during your (second?) gig on Galiano Island. I'm the web developer that was working on a website that I thought would be of interest to you guys. I've put together a petition on the site for you. Get 1000 people to vote for you, and DRD would try to woo you down to their studio to put on a show for the sites members. Some background here: http://www.instillanarchy.com/cms/deep-rock-drive-live-music The petition I made is here: http://www.deeprockdrive.com/artist/language-arts cheers! Upper Cleents Park!

Hello Language Arts, I don't know if you guys remember me or not. My name is Terissa Rafuse but you would know me as Sparkles the Clown from Upper Clements Park. I met you four (I think) this summer. Kristen Read and I both met you. Kristen was the carousel girl (the pretty blonde one in the big pink dress that looks like a cup cake). That would be very cool if you guys remembered us. I REALLY love your guys' style of music. I am very interested in buying a CD. Is there anyway I can purchase one over the internet? Anyway, hopefully talk to you all later. Thanks, Sparkles :D Posted by: Sparkles the Clown (Terissa Rafuse) From: Bridgetown, N.S. On: Monday, September 17th, 2007

I hope smokie makes it and you have a good tour, Ijust dropped by to make a donation to his recovery and could only stay for the first few songs but it was good to see you live again. Good luck on the tour, Peter Posted by: Peter From: North Vancouver On: Saturday, September 1st, 2007

Cafe de solei

Hey i only caught your last 3 songs at the show, but it made it a no brainer to buy your cd, you have such a nice sound. Your drummer seriouly has great energy for live shows and rebekah....... I had no probs talking to the rest of the band but i could only mange a slight wimper when you came out side, you are breath taking, The only thing that comes close to your beauty is your voice and talent. I just finished listening to your cd, and you have my highest praise, and can't wait till you make it back west. Such a pleasant find. You wowed Wolfville

I just came home from Kristen's gig in Wolfville - one of a summer series of Sunday night concerts in the park. I loved it - watching her build up soundscapes with loop recordings, then launch into her hiphop patter. She can talk fast!!Kristen's lyrics are cool and what a novel use for classical guitar skills!! I think Kristen did us a favour, bringing her fresh new music here. That was probably the first time that many of the audience members experienced such new technology as the "loop" - I mean, two weeks ago at the Park we had the Centennial Dixieland Band playing. (I think they formed during Canada's Centennial in 1967!!). At the end of the show Kristen said "Thanks for listening to my band." You gotta love technology, eh? She'd brought the rest of the band in her computer, I guess! Posted by: Li From: Wolfville On: Sunday, August 6th, 2006
